Life has been very full on just recently, in a good way, but eventually the fun stops for a while, you have a bad day, and your mood sinks quite low. Or at least that’s the way it has been for me. I’m in training, and time is running out - this is also messing with my head a little. Wednesdays being my day off is a great opportunity to get in an additional long ride mid week, but today I really struggled to find any motivation to go. It wasn’t that I didn’t want to ride, but I knew I would have procrastinated for hours and then gone on a short local ride.

Whilst most weekends riding bikes is the best thing to do, sometimes it’s good for the soul to watch others ride their bikes, and try to help them reach the end of their ride. This was one of those weekends.

What a beautiful day for a bike ride or two. First ride was with the fabulous people that join the @thewoodscyclery shop rides. As always a beautiful route.

I love a sunset, and our #pompeypedalpushers Tuesday night rides at this time of year are a great opportunity to spot them.

Sunday- a really chilled out day with #Brotherinthewild. Less hills, fab trails, beaches, pubs, ice cream and friendships.
